If you have a young family, why not come along and join us at Upton Messy Christmas this coming Sunday?

Upton Messy Christmas is a fun alternative Christmas service for all the family. You can enjoy crafts and children’s activities, songs, the nativity story and a lovely buffet tea.

Whilst the activities and messages are designed for children from age 3 plus, children of all ages are welcome, but must please be accompanied by an adult.

There is no charge for Upton Messy Christmas- donations are welcome but are not needed.

And the good news is we’re easy to find at Upton Meadows Primary School, so feel free to simply come along. We start at 4pm and run through until 6pm.

For more information call us 07931 436 852 or email us at admin@kislingburyanduptonbaptistchurch.org

Tonight (9th November) we are meeting once again for Cafe Church, so why not come along and join us? It’s at the normal time 7.30pm to 8.30pm at The Elgar Centre, Upton.

It’s going to be an encouraging and challenging evening all rolled into one – so if you know someone who is new to Christianity and would like to hear more in an informal and friendly environment, then feel free to invite them along too.

There’s no need to book – simply turn up, grab a coffee, sit down and relax!

It will be lovely to see you if you’re able to join us.

We’re celebrating with a Light Party on Monday, bringing children closer to knowing Jesus as the Light of the World. After all, the origins of Halloween come from All Hallows Eve, a Christian tradition of remembering those who gave up everything to follow Jesus!

We’ll be at the church enjoying pizza, glow sticks and a fun film.

To find out more get in touch with Tam or call 07931 436852.

May I remind all you good folk of our Praise, Prayer … and Cake event tonight.

It was a well known European from a previous era who was supposed to have remarked. “Let them eat cake!” (Marie Antoinette, if memory serves).

Well, before we do …and enjoy some fellowship together… we will be praying for the Church, our Nation, International issues and Ourselves at this crucial time. We will be lead by Jeni, John and Bruce – that’s in prayer not cake eating, although… mmm!

So whether you’re for ‘remain’ or ‘leave’ please endeavour to join with us for a united time together at 7.30 pm.

What a weekend! WHAT A WEEKEND!

We saw KUBC at it’s best this weekend; all working hard to bless and serve the community in the name of Jesus…and a great time of fellowship amongst ourselves.

A lovely, comfortable atmosphere inside with new and returning visitors and a very real sense of fun and enjoyable activity outside with a really good crowd of folk of all ages.

Andrew entertained and fascinated us with some ‘magic’ and spoke of Jesus being our Superhero. This was followed by Messy Church activities for the children by the river which went down so well.

So a very big THANK YOU to ALL – EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU who baked, served, washed-up, set-up, took down, lead and helped out with activities, made up our flower-pot display, dealt with technology and PA system, created new and updated publicity, talked with our visitors and cleared up and tidied away. And I’m sure to have left someone out: so whoever you are, “Thank you”.
